LinkBench Terms of Service
Effective date: 30 August 2026 Product: LinkBench (Chrome extension) Operator: XiangjunJia (individual developer) Address: Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China Contact: 348767022jxj@gmail.com
By using LinkBench, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product. Personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy on personal-information matters, the Privacy Policy prevails.
---
1. The service
LinkBench is a Chrome extension that helps you discover, save, and manage links from open tabs, bookmarks, and browsing history.
- You may use the workspace as a Basic guest without signing in. A Google account sign-in is required for account features and personal cloud sync.
- The first successful sign-in grants the Basic plan. There is no trial. The Basic plan does not require a payment method.
- Tabs, bookmarks, and browsing history are processed only on your device. Guest collections and groups remain on the device; Basic, Advanced, and Flagship accounts may sync those collection data to the cloud after sign-in.
- A collaboration space is a separate server-shared data area. Basic accounts may join with an invite code; Advanced, Flagship, and Flagship Lifetime accounts may create one space. Content placed there is made available to authorized members and is not part of personal sync or personal exports.
---
2. Accounts
- You must be authorized to use the Google account you sign in with and are responsible for activity under that account.
- You may sign out at any time. Local data is retained by default after sign-out.
- We may restrict or suspend access if a session is invalid, if there is a security risk, or if you breach these Terms.
---
3. Plans and payments
| Plan | Groups | Collections | Cloud sync | Create collaboration space |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 5 | 20 | Yes (sign-in required) | No; may join |
| Advanced | 20 | 100 | Yes | Up to 1 |
| Flagship | 50 | 500 | Yes | Up to 1 |
List prices (USD; taxes determined at checkout): Advanced $2.99/month or $29.99/year; Flagship $4.49/month, $39.99/year, or $79 lifetime. The checkout page and server-side catalog control.
- Payments are processed by Creem. Entitlements follow our servers and Creem-confirmed events; a front-end return page alone does not grant access.
- Manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellations through the Creem Customer Portal. Effective timing follows Creem.
- On-screen “estimated” amounts are not the final bill.
- Flagship Lifetime is a one-time digital purchase. You must confirm the purchase terms before paying. After a successful purchase, there is no voluntary cancel, refund, or downgrade path, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
- When paid access ends, you return to Basic: existing local data is not deleted; over-limit states only block creating new items, while view, edit, delete, and export remain available.
- When a paid entitlement ends or is downgraded, the account returns to Basic quotas and personal cloud sync continues. If existing data exceeds the current quota, only new additions are paused; existing local and cloud data remain.
- Each collaboration space supports up to 5 real secondary groups, 50 saved links, and 10 members without consuming personal quotas. The Owner’s valid entitlement controls write access for the whole space. An Owner downgrade, billing verification, or archiving may make content read-only but does not merge it into personal collections. Permanent deletion by the Owner cannot be undone; an Editor or Viewer leaving only removes membership and does not copy shared content.
- We may change future prices or plan contents. Changes to active subscriptions follow the payment provider and applicable rules.
---
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use LinkBench only for lawful purposes; not to abuse, attack, or disrupt the service; and not to use it for infringement, fraud, or other illegal activity. Deleting bookmarks or browsing history may permanently affect data in the current browser—confirm carefully. We may restrict or terminate service for violations.
---
5. Data and intellectual property
- Browser source data is not uploaded. Personal collection and collaboration-space boundaries are described in the Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for risks from exported files and shared devices.
- The LinkBench name, UI, code, and documentation are protected by applicable law. Except as required by law, these Terms do not grant rights to copy, modify, or redistribute the product itself.
- You retain your rights in content you create in collections (links, notes, group names, and the like).
- Content you place in a collaboration space is made available to other members according to their roles. You must have the right to share it and are responsible for sending invite codes securely.
---
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Browser APIs, networks, Google sign-in, and third-party payments may fail or change.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss not caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you actually paid us for the relevant paid service in the 12 months before the claim (zero for Free users, or the minimum required by law).
Where a jurisdiction does not allow certain exclusions or limitations, those provisions apply only to the extent permitted there.
---
7. Changes and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. You may stop using LinkBench and uninstall the extension at any time. We may terminate service for breach, legal requirements, or discontinuation; data handling follows the Privacy Policy. Continued use after Terms updates constitutes acceptance. We will try to provide reasonable notice of material changes.
